Painting

On A2 and A3 I have started painting, influenced by the markings in my skip books. These will hopefully inform my designs later so that show a contrast between illustrative and abstract drawing. In the top two images I have painted on top of my dads old building plans with the idea of 'archives' in mind which is the brief for the Wallpaper competition this year.

Early 3rd year drawings

Here are a few of the drawings I have been doing since returning to uni. I am really happy with the way my style has developed! 

My theme is 'fictional cities' (again). I wish to draw beautiful buildings and then make up my own cities  whilst exploring cities. 

Slow Makers Market Leaflet

As you may know, I am part of the Slowmakers group. Every 2nd Saturday of the month we have markets at Anteros Gallery, which I have been really enjoying. On the leaflet below you can see my versions of the groups work! I have never drawn other peoples work before now, but enjoyed the challege.

Drawing in Cambridge

I have been drawing famous and/or beautiful buildings in Cambridge in my spare time so that I can eventually make up a fabric depicting Cambridge (my home town). This is where I am up to so far.
